Woman hospitalized after Bridgeport fire

A Bridgeport woman who suffered from smoke inhalation during a fire on Pequonnock Street late Saturday remains in stable condition. Firefighters responded to the blaze, which began in a second-floor bedroom, shortly before midnight, according to Assistant Chief Bruce Elander.
